EL APARTAMENTO is a very pretty garden apartment – and forms the upper floor of Cortijo Nuevo. It is spacious and private, and has it’s own entrance and exterior staircase.

NO INFANTS OR CHILDREN UNDER 16 YEARS PERMITTED: to help maintain the sense of tranquility and escapism.

Outside is a lovely dining terrace with furniture for four travellers and a BBQ/chimenea. A gated entrance leads to the light and airy living room, which is open plan with small full kitchen in the corner behind an American style breakfast barΒ  which has seating for two people.

The fitted kitchen is well equipped. There is ample china/glassware/pots & pans for four guests. The usual appliances include a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, washing machine, iron & ironing board.

The living room is functional and cosy for full time occupancy, unlike many that are only simple for short term holiday lets.Β  We have a Wi-Fi zone, satellite television: ASTRA 19,2ΒΊE & ASTRA 28,2ΒΊE ( in many languages, dozens of channels, UK Internet tv/radio, DVD .Β  There is also a large sofa and a separate double sofa-bed, suitable for occasional guest use. Extras include board games, books, CDs and a DVD movie selection.

Adjacent to the living room is a double bedroom with a Queensize iron bedstead, ample storage and an i-pod docking station.
Not forgetting the simple modern tiled bathroom/WC, with good water pressure.

Being near the coast at sea level, El Apartamento benefits from any passing breeze along with Cooling fans for Summer use. However we also provide oil filled electric radiators and duvets to keep you warm in the Winter time.

Accommodation is always cleaned for your arrival, the beds are made and a simple welcome pack is popped into the fridge. You can also upgrade to a Luxury welcome pack if you choose, which is particularly popular with our guests arriving late or at weekends (costs just €60/Β£50 extra, and the contents can be tailored to your requirements).

All the rooms have shuttered windows overlooking the lovely gardens, mountains and nearby Mediterranean.

A spiral staircase leads from the outside dining terrace up to the huge rooftop sun garden. It is here that you can enjoy fantastic Mediterranean, Sierra and Motril views.

Breakfast table, loungers, pot plants and drying lines are all up here, making an ideal escape.Β  This really is the perfect spot to end the day sharing a bottle of wine, watching the lovely sunsets then perhaps some stargazing.

Pets:

Socialised pet dogs considered. The owner loves & owns a loveable dogs himself (Hector).
Maximum of 3 well behaved pet dogs permitted, and with a small additional charge, 6€ daily – please ask

Sorry, but the surroundings are not suitable for wheelchairs .
